Foundations In Accountancy (FIA) from ACCA is a group of qualifications:

      1. ACCA Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting - also known as the Introductory Certificate - consisting of 2 papers
      2. ACCA Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting - also known as the Intermediate Certificate - consisting of 2 papers
      3. ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business - consisting of 3 papers. By completing this diploma you will also be completing the Applied Knowledge level of the full ACCA Qualification.
      4. Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification - this draws together the three FIA diplomas, and you need to complete 2 papers from 3 options.

      Completing FIA means you can begin your ACCA qualification at the Applied Skills level.
